Operations Manager

Our client, a Wholesale Girl's Apparel Brand, is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team in NYC! The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in International Logistics and Operations.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the shipping process of containers from overseas suppliers to our US warehouse.
Input shipping details into our AMT order tracking system accurately.
Review and validate shipping documents for accuracy, resolving any discrepancies with relevant parties.
Monitor container movements with forwarders and provide timely updates to internal and warehouse teams.
Verify the accuracy of warehouse receipts and handle chargebacks for any concealed shortages.
Oversee the verification of all invoices and collaborate with the Finance department to process payments efficiently.
Liaise with the sales department regarding delivery extensions as needed.
Generate work orders for reworking goods at the warehouse to meet quality standards.

Requirements:

Previous experience in Logistics and Operations within the Wholesale Apparel industry.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
Demonstrated sense of ownership and ability to work with a sense of urgency.
Excellent organizational skills with the capability to communicate effectively with a diverse team.
Proficiency in managing tasks under pressure while meeting deadlines consistently.
