Associate Designer - Denim & Outerwear

Our client, a women's manufacturing brand with a focus on Denim + Outerwear, is looking for a strong and creative Associate Designer to join their growing team.

This role is on site 4 days a week in their Manhattan offices and offers 1 day work from home flexibility.

Responsibilities
‍

• Sketching and CADing, Denim and Outerwear
• Track and maintain design calendar
• Research trend, fabrics and trims
• Partner with technical design and production teams
  ‍

Qualifications
‍

• 2-5 years related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in fashion design preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to take initiative, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent sketching techniques in illustrator
• Understanding of garment construction, silhouettes, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim
• Experience with Denim, outerwear, embellishments, etc.
