Area Manager

A retail apparel/fashion brand is seeking an Area Manager to join their team! The perfect candidate is an experienced leader with a track record in multi-unit management, skilled in hands-on supervision and effective communication with store managers and stakeholders. They demonstrate strong organizational abilities and flexibility to oversee a diverse schedule, ensuring operational excellence while emphasizing employee development and enhancing the customer experience across multiple locations.

Job Details:

ON-SITE: Denver, CO

PAY: $65K-$85K/year + monthly bonuses & profit sharing

Direct Hire: Full-Time

Responsibilities:
•Manage a flexible schedule, including weekend availability and occasional time off, to balance workload and meet operational needs within a standard workweek.
•Execute new hire onboardings, conduct regular weekly check-ins, host monthly staff meetings, and establish quarterly development plans to support team growth.
•Provide hands-on support and coverage as needed, actively engaging in store operations to support the team and maintain operational efficiency.
•Embrace a leadership style that values autonomy, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to achieve team success and operational goals.
•Develop customized and comprehensive development plans tailored to the skills and experience levels of your leadership team members.
•Oversee the operations and performance of multiple retail stores within the assigned area, ensuring consistency and excellence.
•Supervise and mentor store managers, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to effectively manage day-to-day activities.
•Implement monthly floorset changes, update windows and mannequins weekly, and uphold visual and merchandising standards across all stores.
•Minimize communication and operational tasks to prioritize employee training and enhance the customer experience across store teams.
•Maintain open communication with other stores, Territory Managers, and headquarters to facilitate collaboration and ensure alignment across locations.

Qualifications:
•Must be able to work on-site in Denver, Colorado.
•2-3+ years of experience in retail leadership roles, preferably as an Area or Regional Manager.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for managing administrative tasks such as report creation, sales analysis, and presentation development.
•Proven experience in overseeing multiple retail locations, demonstrating the ability to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives across different stores.
•Ability to manage a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional time off, while ensuring operational needs are met efficiently within a standard workweek.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
