Q: First day of the new job must haves: what’s in your bag?

A: A notebook, extra pens, and mints – you never know who you’re going to meet on the first day, and note taking to ensure you don’t forget anything is essential! It will be so helpful in the future to be able to refer back to your notes, especially so you don’t feel like you’re asking too many questions in your first couple days.

Q: What’s your go –to power meal or snack?

A: Popcorn and a cup of tea – it sounds like something you should eat before you want to fall asleep, but popcorn is my absolute favorite food and it’s a good pick-me-up when I need to focus and get stuff done.

Q: Which actor/actress would play you in a movie and why?

A: Kristin Wiig – I’ve been told many times that we have the same sense of humor, which I take as a huge compliment, and I think she would be able to capture my personality the best

Q: Fill in the blank: I wish people knew ____ about my job.

A: I wish people knew that we truly work around the clock to make sure every candidate has a fair chance at our jobs.

Q: What do you first notice or look for when you meet a candidate?

A: Their handshake – my dad used to tell me that my handshake was more of a first impression that my resume, and I’ve never really forgotten that. I think it says a lot about a candidates confidence, since meeting with recruiters can be a little intimidating, and it says a lot about how they handle situations that may initially feel outside of their comfort zone.
