Apparel Brand in Los Angeles seeking Global Logistics and Trade Compliance Specialist

Reporting to the Head of Global Operations, this role is responsible for coordinating the logistics processes and carrier relationships, leveraging the best cost to ensure on time delivery goals. Ensure that all legislation, regulatory and other requirements relating to the importation and exportation of commercial shipments are met.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 Year College Degree preferred 
• Experience in retail for clothing industry preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Import /Export operations & Customs Compliance regulations.
• Familiarity with import/export process, air and ocean transportation, trucking, US Customs & OGA
• Working Knowledge of Incoterms, Customs Rules and Regulations, HTS Classification Codes for Clothing and Accessories
• MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Full Circle ERP knowledge is a plus
