Finance/Operations Associate at High Growth Start-Up - ASAP Temp to Hire Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and driven Finance/Operations Associate to take on high priority projects from inception to execution across the accounting and finance realm. This is a great role for someone with strong leadership and problem-solving skills looking for full-ownership and extensive room for growth. This is an ASAP temp-to-hire role that offers fully remote work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and manage the financial operations
• Ensure accounting and financial operations are executed and meet performance standards
• Proactively develop strategy and processes for the company as they expand
• Ensure compliance and manage legal processes as needed
• Innovate and build core finance processes and systems in order to improve productivity, streamline processes, manage budgets, and expand growth
• Work collaboratively with all executives, team members, key partners, investors, and decision makers
• Oversee business performance reporting and scale best practices across the organization
• Assist with business operations as needs arise.

 

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience within the VC/investment industry or high growth start-ups within finance, accounting, business operations, strategy, or other analytically intensive roles.
• Ability to flex between high-level strategic thinking and deep-dive analytical problem solving
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Self-starter and works with accountability
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible work environments
