Production Coordinator - Junior's Apparel Wholesaler

Our client, a junior's apparel wholesaler, is seeking a Production Coordinator to join the team in New York! This role will work on all categories of product including knits, wovens, and sweaters.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with bulk order entry and transmit orders to factories
• Support with factory allocation
• Regularly update WIP reports and monitor production timelines
• Edit and adhere to the time and action calendar
• Manage incoming and outgoing samples
• Communicate daily with overseas factories
• Submit comments to factories on fit, as well as on color, bulk fabric, and trim
• Ensure product quality

 

Requirements:

• At least 3-5+ yrs of experience in import production
• Proficient in Excel
• Private label production experience a plus
• Organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
