HR Project Manager

A popular social media network based in San Francisco is seeking a HR Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis! In this role, you will be a part of the People Systems team which enables internal customers to optimize and/or facilitate their business processes through technology. The ideal candidate is a creative and critical thinker who is extremely resourceful and solution oriented.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead People Systems initiatives by breaking down complex projects into to manageable tasks
• Track progress, control scope/budget, and drive multiple delivery teams to deliver scheduled deployments
• Understand and document system solution designs and other relevant technical documentation
• Recognize, uncover, and manage the interdependencies between teams to facilitate a common understanding of business
• Manage vendor and consultant participation on implementation and enhancement projects
• Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology to project planning and execution
• Clearly and effectively communicate to technical teams, vendors, business teams and senior leaders
• Build and maintain strong global customer relationships by demonstrating a desire to deeply understand their business processes and challenges
• Manage and escalate project risks and issues, developing proactive mitigation strategies

 

Qualifications:

• Technical Project Management experience
• Knowledgeable in HR and HR business processes (preferred)
• 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in a global organization
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience using data to drive decisions
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology
• Ability to demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
• Methodical and comfortable navigating and resolving ambiguity
• Highly familiar with project and program management tools
• Ability to balance collaboration with consultation when interacting with customers and business partners
