Senior Event Planner – Well-Established Biotech Company

A Well-Biotech Company is seeking a Talented Event Planner to join their stellar team! You will be in charge of seamless execution of events and a top-notch experience for all guests and attendees. The ideal candidate is an organized, efficient professional with experience in project and event management, who has warm and friendly demeanor and a willingness to help out wherever needed.

 

This is a long-term contract role covering a maternity leave. This is also remote but planning on returning to the office.

 

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute flawless medical events from inception to completion
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to make sure all meeting and event expectations are met
• Liaise with executive management, advisors, internal employees, and attendees to communicate event details
• Vendor management, including negotiating contracts, venues, etc.
• Arrange for venues, transportation, catering, and similar services relating to events
• Track, manage, and reconcile budgets to ensure events are on track

 

Qualifications:

• 6+ years in event planning, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Demonstrated experience with project and vendor management a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to supervise junior employees and manage virtual events
• Organized, accurate, and calm under pressure with strong communication skills
• Creative approach to solving problems and a good sense of judgement
