Compensation Analyst

An innovative biotechnology firm in Foster City is seeking a detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to join their team on a contract basis! In this role, you will support the Compensation Team in a variety of projects and operational tasks including salary survey administration, reporting, documentation, and systems support. The ideal candidate has solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive data in a confidential manner.

 

This is a 12-month contract position.

 

Responsibilities:

• Support, coordinate, and potentially manage survey data submissions
• Aggregate survey results data and load into a central system
• Supports Compensation Partners in creating benchmark composites for jobs based on set principles and guidelines
• Research and analyzes market data from various survey data sources
• Execute periodic reports per schedule e.g. Workday, CompAnalyst, etc.
• Perform administrative role in managing compensation documentation e.g. report archiving, version control, etc.
• Provide operational support regarding system update requests including job architecture and market range updates, employee data corrections, etc.
• Conduct analyses for a broad range of ad hoc compensation projects

 

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree required
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with MS Suite – Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Working knowledge of compensation concepts
• Experience working with Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams
• Experience working with HRIS, specifically Workday
• Experience working with CompAnalyst
