Director, People Operations - Innovative Tech/Design Lifestyle Brand, $100-150k range
Global, innovative and high-growth Tech/Design company is seeking a passionate leader in the HR/People space to grow their US presence.
This is an incredible opportunity to get in on the ground floor and partner with a global team and build and lead a department at a fast-growing organization that values sustainability, culture, collaboration and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate will be true generalist with a strong recruitment background and proven success building out a people team in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the driver in developing a comprehensive people operations strategy partnering with the UK People Team and US senior leadership.
-Manage extensive onboarding and recruiting
- Recommend and implement policies and procedures given thorough understanding of company's goals
- Act as a thought partner to the executive team to maintain an employee centric culture.
- Be an active, engaged and trustworthy leader for both employees and management.
- Build-out comprehensive benefits enrollment plan, payroll, review procedures, and hiring practices
- Prepare offer letters and handle onboarding/offboarding

Desired Qualifications:
-7+ years of HR/People Ops experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Passionate about sustainability
-Background in a high-growth Direct to Consumer Brand, BioTech or Technology
- Experience as the first/sole People team hire with past proven success setting up internal systems and processes
-Experience helping a company grow quickly, ideally doubling in size
