Buyer

The law department of a prominent educational institution in San Francisco is seeking a Buyer to join their team on a contract basis! This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and communicative. Please note this is an on-site, 2-3-month contract role.

 

Responsibilities:

• Process requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, requests for bids/proposals, and create vendors in the ERP
• Assist departments with P-Card program and monitor activities
• Serve as first point of contact for suppliers, resolve problems, handle business items
• Assist with Concur expense management and paperless contract workflow
• Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

• Previous related work experience preferred
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills – ability to build and maintain supplier/vendor relationships
• Previous experience with Concur is a plus
• Willing and able to work on-site
