Facilities Coordinator
Non-profit children’s clinic located in Oakland is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis! In this essential role, you will take the lead on all facilities and day to day office operations. Our ideal candidate is one who is eager to learn, with a professional, articulate demeanor and excellent communication skills.
This is an on-site, part-time contract role requiring 20 hours/week to start.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of all facility related functional and operational issues including all emergency procedures
- Communicate regularly with property managers and maintain vendor relationships
- Coordinate maintenance work and repairs with technicians, vendors, and contractors
- Review and manage work orders, ensuring successful completion
- Manage access control system for building security
- Oversee office supplies and equipment; obtain vendor quotes as needed
- Track paper supply inventory, replenishing copiers and printers as needed
- Collaborate with IT to monitor meeting room technology, conference phones, and video conference
- Receive and route incoming packages, mail, and correspondence
Qualifications:
- Experience receiving, dispatching and following up on maintenance work
orders
- Experience in building and equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and schedules
- Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies
- In-depth knowledge of building safety regulations and security protocols
- Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Tech Savvy
