Personal Assistant – Musician/Celebrity

Our client, a musician/creative artist is hiring for an accomplished Personal Assistant with an interest in the music industry and 3+ years of experience supporting a musician or celebrity as a Personal Assistant. This PA position requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A high level of discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism is essential.  The ideal candidate will be creative, adaptable and flexible.

Location/Hours: Onsite position - This role is based in NYC and requires flexibility for global and domestic travel with the artist as requires and a 24/7 mindset (typically later hours, rather than early mornings)

Salary: $80-120k range, depending on experience

Responsibilities include:
•Running personal errands
•Day-to-day management of schedule/ personal and business as needed
•Running personal errands as needed, gifting, packing luggage for travel, unpacking, home inventory, etc.
•Managing home inventory and restocking as needed
• Interacting with high-level visitors, in person or by telephone or email
• Prepare internal and external presentations including preparation for media interviews
• Read and route correspondence; draft responses and other documents as requested; manage email for artist and assist with music organization and distribution as needed
• Manage schedule by planning internal and external meetings, conferences, presentations, and both business and family travel
• Prepare expense reports
• Provide key administrative support for principal’s civic and industry commitments
• Preparing studio/houses before arrivals

Ideal Skills/Qualities:
• Develop and demonstrate professional knowledge of the music business with an interest in the business
• Competency using Mac and Microsoft Office
• Use organizational skills to manage office and time in fast-paced environment and anticipate artist’s needs
• Proven ability to work effectively with senior management and senior level clients • Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage highly confidential information and to act calmly and professionally at all times
• Manage global travel logistics
• Highly organized and has worked in very fast paced environments
• Willingness to put time in after hours and on weekends as needed
• Some experience in creative / marketing is a plus
