Social Media Content Designer - Out of Gaming! - 3 Months

A Global Gaming Company is looking for a Social Media Designers to join their team in a 3-month temp project. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge and passion for collectable card games and online gaming community, along with experience creating social content across various . This is a great opportunity to expand your portfolio and work with a great company.

 

This role requires the selected candidate to work onsite in West Los Angeles

 

Pay: $45-65/hour

 

The Job:

• Devise effective visual strategies to promote the game’s marketing campaigns
• Create a variety of assets from video, static, and interactive for new game releases and updates
• Adjust assets to ensure correct resolution, aspect ratios, and file types are being used across various social media channels
• Stay on top of social media trends, media requirements, and best practices
• Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to support the production of day to day social content for major game titles
• Manipulate image composition and perform basic paint overs as necessary

 

The Candidate:

• 3+ years of professional Social Media Design experience within the gaming industry
• Strong portfolio showcasing a high level of creativity and demonstrating your ability to concept and execute creative effectively
• Experience creating content for multiple social media platforms
• Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Master Suite apps
• Understands best practices, technical requirements, and specs for developing content for social media channels
• Knowledge of image formats and video codecs
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with frequent priority shifts
• A passion for video games, movies, graphic novels, science fiction, and other elements of pop culture
