Product Development Manager, Homeware

Our rapidly growing wholesale homeware client, is seeking a dynamic senior product development manager to join their team!

Responsibilities:

-Work with suppliers to ensure product requirements such as, design specs, material review, packaging and costing.
-Act as liaison between sales and suppliers.
-Work directly with our sales, design, and production teams to bring innovative products to market
-Maintain profitability of your category through sales review, material costs, freight calculation and feedback.
-Frequent market comp shops to stay up to date on market knowledge of price points, key items, and trends.
-Communicate with our sales teams to ensure they have all necessary tools to sell products into their retail channels.
-Travel domestically and internationally as needed.


Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in a product development, sourcing or relevant industry role
-Must have basic MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
-Must be a team player with a positive outlook
-Must be organized
-Must be a self starter
-Most importantly, must love product and want to "own" your categories and see them through to successful execution in stores across the world
