Production/PD Assistant/Associate

Our client, a fast growing Kids Apparel Company, is looking for a Production/PD Assistant or Associate to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:‍

• Engage in daily correspondence with factories regarding all aspects of product development
• Oversee the development lifecycle of assigned styles, including cost analysis, in collaboration with the Product Development Manager and VP of Sourcing
• Convey retailer requirements to factories, such as labeling, packing, ticketing, hanging, and marking
• Monitor and keep track of submissions and production progress with vendors and internal teams
• Evaluate and distribute lab dips and sample submissions to the Design and Technical departments, conveying feedback to factories based on their input
• Monitor product and factory testing for compliance

Qualifications:‍

• 3-5 years of experience in developing girls' apparel
• Knowledge in knits and woven products preferred
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up capabilities
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and an intuitive grasp of priorities
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Exhibit a strong work ethic and reliability
• Self-motivated with a comprehensive understanding of tech packs and apparel product development cycles and timelines
