Controller

Our client is a beauty brand looking for a Controller/VP of Finance to join their rapidly growing team! It is an exciting time to join the organization as you’ll have the opportunity to get in during a time of pivotal growth, having a say in process implementation, and help build the culture.

This position requires onsite attendance in their Los Angeles office. Candidates must reside in the LA area for consideration.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the accounting department.
• Provide analysis and financial reporting to guide financial decisions.
• Review and check accuracy of financial statements for leadership team.
• Responsible for creating budgets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Assist in development and training for more junior accounting staff.
• Establish and implement best accounting practices across the company.
• Work cross functionally with HR, Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments to achieve goals.

Qualifications:

‍
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CPA strong preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in an accounting & financial role.
• Prior experience working with a CPG company required.
• Experience working in a high growth environment preferred.
• Netsuite experience required.
• A “can-do” attitude!
