Designer - Women's Contemporary

Our client, an intimate apparel and loungewear brand, is seeking a Designer to join their team in New York!

Responsibilities:

-Develop product detail sheets for each style
-Update and communicate detail sheets to factories
-Develop color guides for each collection
-Maintain line sheets, sketch updates, style colorways, inspiration layouts
-Re-color print artworks
-Develop proprietary embroidery/techniques for development
-Develop initial flat and t/p for new styles
-Assist in proto fittings
-Prepare design presentation boards
-Assist in sample organization and sample presentations

Requirements:

-Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or relevant field
-5-7+ years of women's apparel design experience
-Strong understanding of garment construction & fabrication
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Excellent sketching and illustration skills
-Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud + varying design software
-Up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends, textiles, and techniques

Salary: $100,000-$120,000
