Production Coordinator - Swimwear

Our client, a swimwear manufacturer, is seeking a Production Coordinator to join the team in New York!

Responsibilities:

-Enter purchase orders and maintain PO worksheets
-Set up and maintain seasonal cost sheets
-Handle costing
-Manage and maintain WIP reports
-Communicate with factories on sample updates
-Analyze vendor manuals and ensure all requirements are being met
-Approve layout of labels, hangtags, price tickets, and carton markings
-Update system with all confirmed deliveries
-Assist with special projects as needed
-Ensure prompt resolution of all production related issues


Requirements:

-At least 3+ years of experience in production in an apparel environment
-MUST have costing experience
-Experience working with Costco or Sam's Club
-Proficient in Microsoft Suite
-In depth understanding of costing process at a factory level
-Strong organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills
-Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, print processes, details and fit
-Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
