Podcast Producer

An Orange County Marketing Agency is looking for a Podcast Producer to join their team in an ongoing contract! The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set encompassing production management, exceptional communication abilities, a knack for crafting engaging narratives, experience in team leadership, adept problem-solving skills, adaptability to fast-paced environments, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for storytelling and creating compelling audio content.

Job Details:

ON-SITE: Lake Forest, CA (OC)

PAY: $40-$50/hr

TEMP: Ongoing duration

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement the schedule for full-day podcast productions, overseeing the smooth progression of up to 5 recordings daily.
• Supervise on-set podcast sessions, fostering a vibrant interaction between hosts and guests to produce captivating and top-notch content.
• Engage in outreach to potential guests, overseeing their involvement from initial outreach to recording sessions.
• Coordinate all communication, travel arrangements, and readiness with guests and hosts, guaranteeing a polished and proficient experience for all parties.
• Collaborate extensively with agency and client teams to synchronize on all pre-production and production facets, encompassing content direction, branding, and audience engagement tactics.

Qualifications:
‍

• 3-5+ years of prior experience in Podcast Producing.
• Must be able to work on-site in Lake Forest, California!
• Proficient in handling multiple production tasks concurrently, including scheduling and guest coordination, while upholding high-quality standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, adept at facilitating effective interactions among guests, hosts, agency, and client teams.
• Discerning eye (and ear) for compelling content creation, adept at crafting narratives that enthrall and captivate viewers.
• Extensive experience in leading production teams, cultivating a collaborative and positive work atmosphere.
• Skillful at anticipating and swiftly resolving issues to ensure seamless production progression.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments, capable of adapting to shifting timelines, content requirements, and client demands.
• Exemplary attention to detail across all production facets.
• Genuine enthusiasm for storytelling and developing immersive audio content that resonates broadly.
