Design Assistant - Home

Our client, a leading home goods manufacturer, is seeking a Design Assistant to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

-Create concept artwork and specs with Photoshop for development
-Review samples and color references
-Ensure that quality, size, weight, and color is consistent with original requests
-Communicate with vendors and internal departments
-Oversee sample organization, sample gathering, and presentation preparation
-Set up showroom display presentations for market, buyer and brand meetings
-Stay up to date with trends and product updates

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Design
-Strong computer skills (Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite)
-Proficiency in PLM systems
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong organizational and analytical skills
-Previous experience in bath/textiles is a plus
-Knowledge of weaving and printing is a plus

Salary: $50,000-$55,000
