Temp Graphic Artist - Sleepwear Apparel

Our client is looking for a creative Apparel Graphic Artist to join their team on a contract basis. You will be working on licensed sleep apparel for a well-known retail corporation.


Responsibilities:‍

• Creating graphics for screen prints and print repeat patterns for licensed sleepwear
• Ability to create current, trend right graphics, often interpreted from correct target market
• Monitor and keep up-to-date new trends, techniques, treatments, and resources in graphic trends
• Responsible for creating sample/production ready files
• Collaborate with the Head Designer/ design team to develop graphic design concepts and meet weekly
• Research and identify graphics trend directions in collaboration with designers
• Manage deadlines in accordance with the corporate calendar
• Ability to create original designs that look fresh and new each season that is aligned with overall seasonal direction

Qualifications: 

• Apparel Design or graphic design degree
• 4+ years of graphic design or graphic apparel design
• Must have experience with licensing
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Detail oriented and able to work in fast-paced environment
