Senior Production Coordinator - Swimwear

Our client, a swimwear manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Production Coordinator to join the team in New York.

Responsibilities:

-Enter purchase orders and maintain PO worksheets.
-Manage negotiations.
-Monitor T&A calendar.
-Handle costing.
-Manage and maintain WIP reports.
-Oversee sample submissions.
-Communicate with factories on sample updates.
-Approve layout of labels, hangtags, price tickets, and carton markings.
-Ensure prompt resolution of all production related issues.


Requirements:

-At least 5+ years of experience in production in an apparel environment.
-MUST have Walmart experience!
-Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
-In depth understanding of costing process at a factory level.
-Strong organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
-Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, print processes, details and fit.
-Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
