Administrative Assistant

The Forecasting/Planning team of a global luxury goods and retail organization is hiring for an Administrative Assistant with strong Excel skills to add to their team in their Long Island City office! Salary commensurate with experience:  $60,000 - $78,800 + paid OT (time and a half paid after 37.5 hours) along with bonus and great benefits

Hybrid: This role is on site 3 days/week and is based in Long Island City, New York

Hours: 9am-5pm

Seeking:
-1-2 years of relevant administrative experience
-BA/BS Degree
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (will be tested) and strong communication skills (written/verbal)
-Extremely detail oriented and organized
-Must be humble and low ego- someone who likes being part of a collaborative team
-Dedicated to administrative work

Responsibilities include:
-Entering monthly inventory reconciliations, sales verifications,  tracking retailer compliance, and validating reporting.
-Collaborating cross-functionally to maintain inventory reconciliation/sales verification files and contacts.
-Supporting ad hoc needs including back-order cancellation to support the team’s workflow
-Updating and maintaining account maintenance requests for Service contacts
-Managing mailings of printed materials for new store opening
-Answering telephone calls and relaying messages
-Ensures that all administrative and clerical support tasks are completed to meet the company’s standards of excellence.
