Design Director - Home

Our client, a modern home décor manufacturing company, is seeking a Home Design Director to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design high-quality home textiles, with an emphasis on pillows and throws.
• Design unique patterns, textures, and color combinations that enhance collections to reflect the brand's luxury image.
• Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure designs align with the brand's overall vision.
• Find and use high-quality materials, staying updated on new fabric innovations and techniques.
• Manage the entire design process, ensuring projects meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
• Stay informed on trends in high-end home décor.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers to ensure top-quality production.

Qualifications:
‍

• Proven experience designing home textiles or similar products
• Solid understanding of luxury home goods trends and a strong eye for detail.
• Skilled in using design tools like Adobe Creative Suite and textile design software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
