Packaging Manager, Home

Our client, a home textiles manufacturer, is seeking a Packaging Manager to join their team in NYC!

This is a full-time, on-site position. Requires 5 days a week in office.

Responsibilities:

-Work with Director of Merchandising to execute Company vision
-Manage team of packaging designers
-Oversee daily communication with overseas partners to deliver, edit, and approve all aspects of packaging
-Create, design, and maintaining new labels and internal brands
-Direct and approve all photo direction for the company’s product
-Oversee the conceptualization of specific packaging presentations for customers
-Understand the retail landscape via comp shopping for new trends and materials and how they translate to packaging
-Work closely with Sourcing and Merchandising teams to ensure the company’s brands and products are well represented

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Graphic/Packaging Design or relevant field of study
-8-10+ years of strong textile design experience (home preferred)
-Organized and detail-oriented
-Should have strong design and communication skills
-Able to to facilitate creative solutions
-Must be able to design on a PC
-Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and Illustrator) and MS Office
-Managerial experience required

Salary: $100,000-$130,000
