Senior Account Executive

Our client, a leading home goods manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their sales team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

-Maintain and grow new and existing account relationships
-Develop annual sales and merchandise plans
-Implement business/product strategies to optimize sales and profit
-Work closely with design and product development to initiate new product development
-Coordinate sample needs
-Conduct competitive market research
-Schedule buyer meetings and prepare agendas for meetings
-Recap buyer meetings and follow up with buyers to provide feedback
-Ensure product meets sales, pricing and margin goals
-Provide sales estimates by project and projection worksheets

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in sales or product/management
-At least 10 years of experience in product/brand management or marketing
-5+ years of buying line exposure and understanding of retail cycles
-Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office programs)
-Excellent communication skills
-Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills

Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000 plus bonus/commission
