Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing

Our client, a skincare & cosmetics brand, is seeking a Senior Manager for Global Product Marketing with experience in holiday/ gift promotional sets.



Responsibilities

  • Develop a 3-year promotional strategy leveraging the unique DNA of each brand for a differentiated and equity building approach.
  • Analyze the brand's business with input from cross functional and regional teams to develop a global assortment that meets the needs of key stakeholders.
  • Provide brand and competitive insights to support recommendations.
  • Include Artistry considerations in the development of products and positioning where appropriate.
  • Develop local programs where relevant based on business objectives and Net Sales targets.
  • Put emphasis on speed to market and manage projects in collaboration with NPD, Product Development, Procurement, Packaging Design and other key partners to deliver best-in-class programs on time.
  • Gather all necessary content for launch strategy decks detailing all the aspects of the launch
  • Help analyze and manage product COGs to ensure favorable profitability to the brand
  • Provide brand and competitive insights supporting the alignment on pricing
  • Partner with Creative to develop key launch materials with a digital first mindset
  • Lead global 360 planning with the digital, social, influencer, brand.com, US Marketing and PR teams
  • Lead development of briefs (product development, packaging, visual merchandising)
  • Support the execution of the sampling strategy in partnership with operational marketing
  • Develop preliminary forecasts and guidance for all programs and work with the regions to gain consensus for final forecasting through the bulletin process
  • Help review global forecasts (saleable / samples) in partnership with Operational Marketing and Operational teams
  • Work with packaging design team and the regions on local development of promotional items within Global GuidelinesEnsure high standard of execution and consistency of message across all consumer facing material and across internal documents



Qualifications

  • College degree, 7+ years of work experience in marketing with holiday gifting/ promo
  • Experience in a global beauty role, preferably in prestige promotions, makeup or skincare or a US Promotions role with heavy local development
  • Experience working with retailers a plus
  • Experience managing others
  • Strong sense of the digital and social media landscape
  • Understands how to influence in a matrix organization and across cultures
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking skills, ability to structure presentations
  • Strong project management skills, structured, sense of respect of timeline, sense of urgency; able to adapt to shifting priorities and ongoing feedback
  • Attention to details, ability to work independently, reliable
  • Proactive, self-sufficient working style – able to manage up, manage down and manage across several teams
  • Needs to be a creative problem solver, thrive in fast paced environment, prioritize, and oversee multiple projects at once
  • Strong oral, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field
