Director of PR, Celebrity & VIP

Our client, a leading women's contemporary apparel brand, is seeking a Director of PR, Celebrity & VIP to join their NYC team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:‍

• Manage and update the VIP talent partnership database, incorporating strategies for engaging celebrities and VIPs through seeding, gifting, and wardrobe selections.
• Establish goals and KPIs for the VIP & Celebrity strategy.
• Work closely with the social media team to align VIP talent with content creation efforts.
• Regularly research and refresh the comprehensive 360 Marketing Calendar, ensuring it includes all relevant cultural events, brand initiatives, etc.
• Plan and execute high-impact events featuring celebrities, influencers, and culturally relevant personalities.
• Monitor industry trends, through competitive analysis and consumer behavior to ensure the brand maintains a leading position in the market.
• Collaborate cross functionally with design, merchandising, and marketing.
• Propose PR initiatives to elevate brand visibility, working with agency partners
• Ensure a strong and cohesive brand message across all communication channels, including press releases, etc.
• Secure high-level media coverage

QUALIFICATIONS:‍

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Energetic and proactive self-starter.
• Extensive network of VIPs and editorial contacts.
• Innovative problem-solver with a proven history of delivering successful outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive projects, juggle multiple priorities, work independently, and complete projects with minimal supervision and keen
• attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Experience in budget and revenue management preferred.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and adapt to evolving business needs.

$115,000 to $140,000 commensurate of experience

Hybrid on site in Manhattan offices
