Sock Designer

Our client, a growing Apparel company, is seeking a Sock Designer to join their team in NYC!

Key Responsibilities:‍

• Design innovative, trend-forward socks, including technical sketches and colorways.
• Conduct market research to identify new concepts and sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, and Production teams to ensure designs are accurately executed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on seasonal timelines.
• Present designs to clients, incorporating feedback as needed.
• Maintain and update design guidelines, line sheets, and archives.
• Review samples for aesthetic and construction accuracy.

Qualifications:‍

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion or Textile Design (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in sock or knitwear design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience with PLM systems.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
