Temporary Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a financial services company, is looking for a temporary Human Resources Generalist! The ideal candidate will be proactive, have extensive Workday experience and be willing to jump right in!


They are looking to bring someone on asap and the role will last for about 6 months.

Location: Midtown

Hours: 9am – 5pm

*Fully Onsite

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing and off-cycle payments
  • Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in Workday (HRIS) to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information on weekly integrations;
  • Respond to employee inquiries on benefits administration
  • Liaise with benefits broker and/or vendors to resolve any enrollment or employee related issues
  • Maintenance, innovation and enhancement of Workday (HRIS System)
  • Track and maintain HR records, perform audits of benefits-related data and process related bills
  • Assist with leave of absence benefits and collaborate with 3rd party leave administrators
  • Conduct annual compliance audits and nondiscrimination testing
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws
  • Support with new hire process from offer letter and background check process to onboarding
  • Other duties as needed



Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience using Workday
  • 4-7 years of experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR operations
  • Advanced Excel skills a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, proactive, strong sense of urgency
