Fragrance Sales Associate

We are looking for Fragrance Sales Associate for our client, an Italian Fragrance Brand, located in NYC. The ideal applicant will have prior beauty/cosmetics/skincare OR luxury RTW experience and be responsible for engaging and creating long-standing relationships with customers. With an omnichannel perspective, the Fragrance Sales Associate will be responsible for representing the brand and creating a unique in-store and online experience.

Hourly Pay: $20-25/hr + commission will be offered for this position.

Core Duties:‍

• Greet all clients and welcome them to the store
• Stay informed about our product range and brand history
• Cross-sell and up-sell by explaining the benefits and functions of the products
• Support customer service with web order allocation and replying to customer service emails
• Assist in the maintenance of visual standards within the guidelines from corporate Visual Merchandising and Management.
• Be a positive role model, representing the brand appropriately always
  

Key Qualities:‍

• At least 5+ years’ experience; luxury retail and/or beauty preferred
• Familiarity with selling ceremony and client journey/discovery process
• Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Positive and supportive team player
• Reasonable computer/IT skills
• Foreign language skills are an advantage
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes / weight up to 20 lbs
