Stock Controller

Our client, a prestigious luxury eveningwear company, is currently seeking a Stock Controller to join their boutique in NYC! The role involves collaborating closely with the store manager to ensure efficient daily operation of the stockroom and Omnichannel services.

Responsibilities:‍

• Deliver prompt assistance to all sales staff, including product preparation and stock availability guidance.
• Participate in product deliveries, verifying that received items correspond with the quantities on the packing list, and checking their condition, addressing any discrepancies as necessary.
• Ensure that all merchandise is appropriately packaged, labeled, and stored in the stockroom.
• Maintain clear and organized stock areas.
• Assist with the implementation and upkeep of automated replenishment systems to guarantee adequate product levels on the sales floor.
• Manage stock transfers between locations as required.
• Conduct regular and complete inventory counts in the store and storage area within specified timeframes.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers for all delivery follow-ups.
• Unpack and inspect delivery contents, following proper receiving protocols.
• Manage consignment processes for VIP clients and PR agencies, including necessary follow-ups.
• Open and close the store according to established procedures.
• Process and fulfill online orders.
• Support special initiatives and events (e.g., bridal trunk shows, VIP gatherings, appointments, etc.).
  

Qualifications:‍

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Up to five years of relevant experience in the luxury retail fashion sector.
• Capable of performing under pressure and adhering to deadlines.
• Adaptable and disciplined, with a willingness to embrace change.
• Strong operational skills in retail.
• Focused on customer service and achieving results.
• Demonstrates integrity and builds trust.
• Proactive, with a positive team attitude and the ability to take initiative.
