Executive/Personal Assistant to CEO

A leading FinTech start-up is seeking a high level Executive/Personal Assistant to support their CEO. In this role, you will be true gatekeeper and right hand serving as the point of contact for all stakeholders with matters pertaining to the CEO. You will manage all professional and personal appointments, contacts, travel arrangements and business affairs on behalf of the CEO. Our ideal candidate will be a true thought partner to this executive and will always be three steps ahead anticipating changes and navigating obstacles with a flexible and can-do personality. This outstanding opportunity is perfectly suited for an experienced professional who is accustomed to utilizing their strong communication skills to keep the CEO abreast of his responsibilities and commitments and build relationships on his behalf both internally and externally.

This role is working from their office, on a hybrid and fulltime basis if and when needed.


A day in the life:

  • Heavily managing a complex calendar that includes client meetings, teleconferences, C-Level board meetings, and personal appointments
  • Booking travel arrangements, both domestic and international with thoroughness and accuracy for executive and family
  • Handling all communications, organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle documents, emails and sensitive, confidential information and ensure action/attention required is addressed
  • Establishing strong relationships with key internal and external partners to the CEO
  • Liaise with board members, plan board meetings and events and distribute meeting materials
  • Manage all expenses for CEO

You will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7-15+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, including experience supporting a CEO
  • Well-versed in using the latest technologies to communicate, connect, and manage interactions with people within and outside the company
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
  • Must be well organized and have a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Agility to adjust to ever-changing priorities
  • Goal oriented with strong critical thinking capabilities
  • Must be a quick learner and able to anticipate situations and executive’s needs
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude around the office and in your approach to work
  • Discreet nature with strong judgement skills
  • Accessibility and flexibility in supporting the CEO outside of core business hours
