Designer – Licensing Apparel

Our client, a fast-growing apparel brand, is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Designer - Licensing Apparel to join their team in NYC. The ideal candidate will have experience in graphic design and a strong understanding of design principles related to licensed products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative graphics and designs for licensed apparel and accessories for babies, boys, and girls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create cohesive product lines that align with brand identity and licensing requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences, ensuring designs are relevant and appealing.
  • Prepare and present design concepts, including sketches, tech packs, and color palettes, to internal teams and licensing partners.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and licensing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience doing graphics and designs.
  • Experience in licensing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in office full time.
