Senior Tax Manager

Our client, a high-profile boutique tax firm, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their outstanding team. The ideal candidate for this role possesses experience with ultra-high net worth tax portfolios, possessing an eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently. Responsibilities for this role will include the preparation and review of items such as tax returns, trust accounts and administration, stakeholder interfacing, and much more. This is a hybrid role located in San Francisco, CA. Onsite days will remain flexible based on office need/events, and will be between 2-3 times per week. This client is also open to relocation and remote candidates!

Responsibilities:
- Proactive and detailed tax planning, utilizing up to date knowledge of tax regulations and laws to provide thoughtful advisory services
- Assemble and review a variety of tax documents, including returns, partnerships, trusts, gifts, and other relevant forms
- Remain available to provide advice and assistance to clients, emphasizing risk mitigation and maximizing the efficiency of processes
- Thoughtfully manage a portfolio of various types of high-level entities, ensuring that tax compliance is closely monitored and planned for in advance
- Partner with other firm members to manage aspects of business development, management, billing, talent, and more

Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold an active CPA license
- 5-8+ years of experience at a senior level within an accounting or tax firm
- Experience with handling ultra high net worth tax affairs is required
- Bachelor’s degree is required (with a major in Accounting or Finance preferred)
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Mastery of handling complex work efficiently, able to lend expertise and advise to junior staff
- Quick response time, with excellent attention to detail

Salary Range
$150,000 - $200,000 with excellent benefits
