A wonderful real estate firm based out of GREAT NECK, New York is seeking an experienced Paralegal support their Legal team – General Counsel, & Associate Attorney

The company offers a great work-life balance and hybrid work schedule, 4 days in office/1 remote with the hours of 9am-5pm and paid Overtime

This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to work with a close-knit team in a collaborative work environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist with real estate closings
• Formation and dissolution of various legal entities (real estate and partners)
• Responsible for corporate governance: maintaining corporate books and state filings and keeping track of changes to state corporations laws and regulation
• Assist in the drafting of various legal documents including Corporate Resolutions, Powers of Attorneys, Affidavits, etc.
• Coordinate between Accounting, Finance, Acquisition, Tax, Insurance and Legal during acquisition and depositions of property
• Contact for outside law firms
• Provide administrative assistance to the legal department when necessary
• Answer calls and acts as GC's gatekeeper managing contacts and clients

Requirements:
• 4+ years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills

New York Notary Public Certification or willing/able to apply for NY Notary License.
