Sales & Design Consultant
Our client is a high-end kitchen and bath showroom that offers a comprehensive luxury shopping experience. The Sales and Design Consultant is outgoing, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. The Sales and Design Consultant stays up to date with the latest kitchen and bath design trends, and has a keen eye for aesthetics and the determination needed to close sales.
About the Role:
- Ensure customer satisfaction, meet/exceed sales and profit goals, and provide warm hospitality
- Provide expert product selection and design services for customers in-store and at their locations
- Conduct in-home and showroom consultations for kitchens and bathrooms, showcasing the showroom's value
- Identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and drive sales forward by addressing challenges
- Build and maintain long-term relationships for referrals and repeat business
- Stay updated on product lines, trends, and pricing, using technology for product selection
- Use sales reports and forecasting tools to achieve sales targets and follow-up on leads
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked showroom while attending industry events to stay current

About You:
- 2+ years of experience in plumbing design and sales.
- Knowledge of products sold in the showroom preferred
- Experience working with luxury, high end products and customers.
Our ideal candidate will also:
- Be knowledgeable of kitchen and bath design trends.
- Have experience with architectural blueprints and have a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word) to communicate via email, to maintain customer contact files and appointment calendars, and to create and analyze reports.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and verbal/telephone communications skills.
- Demonstrate a deep product knowledge related to kitchen/bath trends to be able to answer customer questions and identify opportunities to upsell or cross sell.
- Be able to overcome objections by understanding customer needs, providing targeted solutions, and closing the sale.
- Be able to build influential relationships and trust with key vendor partners.
- Be able to build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co-workers.
