QA Manager

Our client, a Medical Lab in Orange County, is actively seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Manager to oversee the quality assurance in their lab operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing quality systems, and leading continuous improvement efforts to ensure the highest standards in patient testing and lab processes.

This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits.

Must be able to work ON SITE in Irvine, California.

Salary: $106K - 112K

Key Responsibilities:‍

• Ensure compliance with regulations (CAP, FDA, CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
• Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) including audits, corrective actions, and quality metrics
• Lead internal audits and develop training programs for quality tools
• Oversee proficiency testing and ensure test results meet quality standards
• Address client and internal concerns, troubleshooting issues as needed
• Work with vendors to bring new analyzers and methods online
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting on quality performance to management
• Maintain organized and easily retrievable records
• Support safety, compliance, and a secure working environment

Qualifications:‍

• At least 4+ years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in a laboratory setting
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (CLIA, COLA, OSHA)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage complex problems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry/computer skills
