Designer - Girls Sportswear

Our client, a growing kids apparel company, is seeking a Designer – Girls Sportswear to join their team in New York.

Responsibilities:‍

• Assist the design team with product innovation
• Collaborate closely with various departments to implement product concepts and technical specifications
• Design and create seasonal items based on the creative vision of the company
• Develop and share technical specs with the Technical Design team
• Prepares Bills of Materials for all products and manages any necessary revisions throughout the development process
• Produces flat sketches swiftly and effectively
• Meets all design deadlines and maintains organized data entry
• Capable of communicating and resolving issues related to product development

Qualifications:‍

• Degree in apparel or fashion design, or relevant professional experience
• 2-4+ years of experience in product design and development
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Ability to remain adaptable under pressure with a positive mindset
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in office full time.
