Product & Inventory Manager – Fashion Jewelry
Our client, a leading innovator in the fashion watch, wearable tech and accessories industry, is looking for a Product & Inventory Manager in the promotional and off-price markets to join their team in Little Neck, NY. This role is responsible for managing inventory levels, developing customer relationships in domestic off-price and international markets, and using data insights to guide pricing and product assortment strategies.
$80,000-85,000 commensurate of experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage the product journey from concept through to customer sales.
- Work with product development to design trendy accessories, keeping products fresh and in demand.
- Oversee watch and accessory portfolios for off-price and international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with promotional and off-price customers to maximize sales.
- Work with leadership to plan and implement sales strategies, including creative pricing and assortment planning.
- Manage inventory across all channels, ensuring products are available as needed and avoiding excess or shortage.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to maintain smooth inventory flow and accurate stock levels.
- Use sales data to guide decisions on pricing, inventory, and customer engagement.
- Regularly create and share reports on sales, stock, and products to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Offer insights into market trends and product performance to guide future product and promotion plans.
Qualifications:
- Experience in managing products and inventory, ideally in watches, jewelry or similar fields.
- Strong skills in analyzing sales data and understanding market trends.
- Experience working with customers in both domestic off-price and international markets.
- Ability to work well across teams, especially with product development, logistics, and leadership.
- Strong strategic skills for developing pricing, assortment, and promotional plans.
- Ability to manage inventory to ensure smooth stock flow and meet business needs.
- Comfortable with data analysis tools for tracking sales and making decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to work well with both internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related area is preferred.
