Controller/Bookkeeper
A dynamic insurance agency specializing in entertainment and sports is seeking a Controller & Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, commission accounting, and late-payment review, while implementing efficient accounting systems. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in QuickBooks, be highly tech-savvy, possess a solid understanding of commission income accounting, and demonstrate expertise in Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee billing, payments, and collections while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Track, calculate, and reconcile commission income accurately, ensuring timely and precise reporting for the team.
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and ensure proper bookkeeping practices.
- Establish and refine accounting and commission-tracking systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Use CRM system to handle client and insurance data, aligning it with accounting and commission structures.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Must be highly tech-savvy with proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and CRM systems
- Prior knowledge in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
