Product Development Assistant

Our client, a leading innovator in the fashion watch, wearable tech and accessories industry, is seeking a dynamic and driven Product Development Associate to join their growing team.

Hybrid in their Little Neck, Queens office

$60,000-$65,000 commensurate of experience

Responsibilities:‍

• Coordinate with international vendors on project details, sourcing materials, sample production, deliveries, and cost estimates.
• Oversee and update the internal Product Development Management software for specific brands.
• Engage in all stages of new product creation, from brainstorming and design to creating visual concepts
• Manage and organize the sample inventory.
• Prepare sample collections for diverse purposes, including sales meetings, NYC showroom presentations, and licensor requests.
• Assist in managing the seasonal product development calendar and key deadlines.
• Act as a point of contact for Purchasing, Photography, and Sales teams to ensure alignment.

Qualifications:‍

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1-2+ years of experience in a support role.
• Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptable to a fast-moving, dynamic work environment.
• Able to understand and meet the expectations of senior management.
• Willing to provide support across various areas.
• Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Awareness and interest in current and upcoming fashion trends.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop.
