Graphic Artist - Licensed Apparel

Our client, a rapidly growing kid's apparel company, is looking for a Graphic Artist - Licensed Apparel to join their team in NYC!


Responsibilities:‍

• Develop original, visually appealing designs for children’s clothing that feature licensed characters, ensuring compliance with brand and licensing standards.
• Research and stay updated on the latest trends in children’s fashion, including colors, patterns, and styles, to create fresh and relevant designs.
• Partner with design and production teams to bring creative concepts to life and ensure manufacturability.
• Ensure all designs align with licensing requirements and authentically represent the characters’ essence.Revise and refine designs based on input from licensors, team members, and clients.
• Deliver production-ready artwork that meets all technical specifications for manufacturing.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a Design Artist, ideally in children’s clothing or related fields.
• A strong portfolio showcasing work with licensed characters or children’s apparel.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Solid understanding of children’s fashion trends and aesthetics.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work full time on site.
• Experience working with licensed characters or brands.
• Illustration skills are a plus.
