Junior Planner
Our client, a luxury brand specializing in premium denim, is looking for a professional and dependable Junior Planner to join their Gardena team!
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and organize historical sales data, sell-through rates, and other relevant metrics to support planning decisions; generate basic reports highlighting trends and performance insights.
- Forecasting: Assist in developing seasonal sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and promotional strategies, contributing to the overall Open-to Buy (OTB) process.
- Merchandise Planning: Support the creation of merchandise plans by collaborating with buyers and merchants to determine product assortment, pricing strategies, and allocation of inventory across stores.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, identify potential overstocking or understocking issues, and propose adjustments to maintain optimal inventory turnover.
- Markdown Management: Assist in developing markdown strategies to clear slow-selling items and maximize profitability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams like buying, merchandising, and operations to ensure alignment on product strategy and execution.
- System Management: Utilize retail planning software to update sales forecasts, track inventory levels, and generate necessary reports.
Requirements:
- This is an on-site role. Candidates must be willing to commute to LA County to be considered.
