Designer - Girl's Apparel

Our client, a children’s clothing brand, is seeking a creative Designer to join their Girl's team!

Responsibilities:

-Work across the design process from concept through product execution
-Identify current trends in color, fabric, silhouette, print and pattern
-Conduct competitive analysis
-Ensure product is consistent with brand identity
-Understand the screen-printing process
-Delegate tasks to multiple direct reports
-Execute trend presentations each season
-Approve and ensure quality and fit of all product
-Follow up on fabric and trim orders


Requirements:

-4-5+ years of related experience in kids design
-Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Fine Arts
-Strong proficiency in Adobe CS
-Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
-Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
-Project management skills
