Credit & Collections Analyst

Our client, a leading entertainment company, is looking for a Credit and Collections Analyst on a freelance basis, ASAP!

This role is 1 day onsite in NYC and 8 months in duration. Royalty accounting is a plus!

Responsibilities ‍

• Trace financials through a contract lifecycle to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Review contracts and compare them to royalty statements
• Play an active role during month end close
• Advise licensees with statement errors
• Resolve open AR balances and royalty issues
• Manage ad hoc requests as they relate to invoice account balances
• Monitor cash expected from licenses to ensure they're received

Qualifications‍

• Strong understanding of General Accounting Principles
• 3-5+ years of experience (global licensing industry)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
