Corporate Events Associate
A prestigious investment firm in midtown NYC is hiring for a Corporate Events Associate to join their Events Team. This is an exciting role on a collaborative team with a focus on client service and logistics. Must be extremely type A and detail oriented with a knack for MS Excel and incredible organizational skills.
Salary commensurate with experience: $95-110k range + disc. bonus + 25 days PTO + fully paid benefits, gym onsite, free meals and 401k match
Hours: Generally 9am-5:30pm-ish but must be flexible leading up to events/conferences
Location/Hybrid: Midtown NYC onsite 4 days/week 1 day remote (but flexible to go in if needed)
*need to be flexible for travel especially around conferences (around 4-6 weeks/year)
Ideal background includes:
-Seeking 2-5 years of corporate events or conference planning background with a focus on logistics, Excel, and high-end client service
-Ideally a candidate with experience arranging or coordinating with executives/VIPs who utilize luxury/private travel
Responsibilities include:
-Coordinate air travel and ground transportation for conferences, working with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless logistics
- Track and organize all incoming sports ticket requests, facilitating distribution to attendees
-Coordinate the selection and ordering of promotional items for conferences
- Assist with various corporate events projects, including invitation mailings, inventory management, shipping, and receiving
