Sampling, Sales and Production Coordinator

Our client, a leading luxury embroidery studio specializing in hand-embellished textiles for fashion and interiors, is seeking a Sampling, Sales and Production Coordinator to support its New York-based team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for craftsmanship, detail-oriented production processes, and an understanding of the high-end fashion or interiors market.

*Must have prior embroidery experience and comfortable being on-site 5x a week in NYC.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new potential clients in the luxury fashion and interiors sectors.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings to present embroidery samples and capabilities to prospective and existing clients.
  • Maintain and organize the embroidery archive within the showroom, selecting relevant swatches for presentations and projects.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of sampling and production orders, from initial client request to final delivery.
  • Prepare precise purchase orders for sampling and production, communicating specifications clearly to factory teams.
  • Track the status of sampling and production orders to ensure deadlines are met and clients are updated regularly.
  • Keep detailed, season-specific records of all sampling and production activity for reporting and historical reference.
  • Conduct seasonal client meetings to gather order information and facilitate production planning.
  • Follow up on payments from clients as needed, coordinating with internal finance teams to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Support the daily operations of the showroom, assisting with administrative and organizational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in luxury fashion, textiles, or embroidery production preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and quality control
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.


Salary: $55,000-$80,000
